A patient-specific plan of care is developed with the use of established, evidenced-based, clinical practice guidelines. Appropriateness and quality of care are carefully monitored to achieve optimal healing. Patients may be referred by a physician, health care worker or self-referred.

Conditions that generally benefit from specialized wound management include:

  • Arterial ulcers
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Venous Stasis ulcers
  • Vasculitic ulcers
  • Chronic wounds
