Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, and Transplant, Dr. Oberton is now a member of St. Luke’s Medical Group in the Texas Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed his residency and fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine, University of New Mexico, and University of Utah. Dr. Oberton is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America, and International Society of Heart Lung Transplant. In his practice, Dr. Oberton’s goal is to listen to his patients’ concerns and explain the options and treatments available to improve their quality of life.
