Current Research: Quintin’s major research project will be focused on assessing efficacy and safety of standardized sepsis resuscitation pathways in patients with end stage renal disease, cirrhosis, and congestive heart failure.
About Me: Quintin’s primary interests in critical care include emergency medicine, medical intensive care, and nutrition support. He plans to pursue a clinical pharmacy specialist position at an institution or an academia position at a college of pharmacy after completing his residency. Outside of pharmacy, Quintin enjoys listening to music, watching television and movies, swimming, playing card and board games, and exploring new restaurants.
Why Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center: Quintin was interested in BSLMC because of the pharmacy department’s dedication to their residents. The staff at BSLMC provide a challenging and nurturing environment for learning and research. Also, BSLMC provides the most critical care beds in the Texas Medical Center which appealed to Quintin’s clinical interests.
