From CHI St. Joseph Health in Bryan/College Station to CHI St. Luke’s Health–Memorial in Deep East Texas, the CHI Texas Division is moving to a new model of care across Texas—a collaborative model that reaches far beyond just delivering services to a model focused on partnerships that improve the overall lives of those we serve. We are funding innovative clinical research projects with Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Heart® Institute and Rice University through the Roderick Duncan MacDonald Research Fund; working with UTHealth to find better ways to use “big data”; and working closely with partners like San Jose Clinic and Nora’s Home to support the needs of patients beyond the walls of our hospitals. Throughout all the regions in which we operate, our donors join us to support their communities—whether it’s cancer care in Brazosport and Bryan/College Station or nursing excellence in Houston and The Woodlands.
Our vision is…
A healthy region that has been transformed with the help of philanthropic partners who share our desire to provide culturally competent, equitable and efficient care throughout Texas.
St. Luke's Foundation raises philanthropic funds that fuel our efforts to spread the healing ministry of the Church. Together with our donors we make it possible for CHI St. Luke's Health to leverage existing resources to develop transformative health care strategies across the state.
We will achieve our vision by operating with transparency, integrity, skill and a strong ethical foundation. We will treat every donor and each other with compassion, kindness and respect.
