CHI St. Luke’s Health–The Woodlands Hospital has named Rashard Johnson as Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Johnson brings more than 10 years of healthcare management and executive leadership experience to CHI St. Luke’s.

Johnson will oversee a variety of clinical services, such as neurosciences, perioperative services, and ancillary services, including imaging, plant operations, and clinical engineering. Additionally, he will provide support for outpatient clinics, including the Wound Care Center, Performance Medicine, Liver Clinic, and Sleep Center.

Johnson joins the CHI St. Luke’s from UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he served as Assistant Vice President of Support Services for UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Clinics. Prior to joining UT Southwestern, he held leadership positions at Jackson Health System, VA Healthcare System, and the Department of Elder Affairs in Miami.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and a master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Central Florida. He also is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and served as president of the Dallas, Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE).
