The comprehensive Women’s Health program at CHI St. Luke’s Health–The Woodlands Hospital uses technologically advanced diagnostic and interventional capabilities. Our gynecologists (physicians who specialize in women’s health) diagnose and treat urinary conditions, cancer, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and hormonal imbalances, among other issues. Our expertly trained medical personnel are proficient in all areas of breast imaging, including digital mammography, breast ultrasound and MRI, and breast biopsy.

Surgical options include minimally invasive procedures that result in less pain, shorter recovery time, and a faster return to daily activity.

Our Family Birthing Center offers women and their families a healthcare setting designed to provide a comfortable birthing experience. Our nurses are dedicated to providing care that aligns with your values, beliefs, and customs. Mothers labor, deliver, recover, and enjoy their post-partum stay in the same home-like room. If a Cesarean birth is necessary, surgical suites are located nearby, and anesthesia services are available 24/7.

During the postpartum period, we encourage one adult to stay with you overnight, and we promote rooming-in with your infant to increase bonding between parents and baby. A respite nursery is available upon request.

Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine program provides care for high-risk pregnant women and their unborn children. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is available for infants who need a higher level of care. Our healthcare team works closely with Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and Texas Children’s Hospital to provide additional levels of care, when needed.

Advanced technologies and constant monitoring provided by our HUGS security system promotes a safe environment for mother and baby.
