5 a.m. – 9 p.m. (Daily)
Our patients have the right to accept or refuse visitors.
Please limit the number of visitors in a patient’s room. We invite large numbers of visitors to use the designated waiting areas and take turns visiting. All patients and visitors are expected to comply with hospital rules and respect the privacy and wellbeing of other patients. Children under age 16 should be supervised at all times. Please do not allow sick children to visit a patient. Visitation will be restricted if the patient requests or if it becomes clinically necessary.
Intensive Care Unit – 5 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Visiting is not allowed during shift changes: 6 – 8 a.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Two visitors, 12 years and older, are allowed per ICU room. For patients who are at the end of life, time and age restrictions may be waived. Overnight guests should check with the patient’s nurse. No food or drinks are allowed.
Overnight Guests/After-Hours Visitors – 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Two overnight guests (no children) are allowed per patient room. Please notify a member of the nursing staff. Visit the Security Desk (located in the First Floor Rotunda) for a visitor badge; identification is necessary. Waiting areas are not intended for overnight stays.
To accompany a patient who is admitted after hours, check with the Security Desk for a badge.
