The Neuroscience Program at CHI St. Luke’s Health focuses on comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and long-term management of conditions that relate to the nervous system.

A referral resource for the region, the NeuroScience Center at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is led by internationally renowned neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialists, who work together to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. The Center is recognized for using cutting-edge technology in preventing and treating neurovascular diseases. It was the first in Houston to use CyberKnife®, a pain-free alternative to surgery, in a clinical setting to treat intracranial (within the skull) tumors.

Our physicians serve as a resource for hospitals throughout Texas to provide clinical consultations for acute stroke patients. This vital, around-the-clock service improves clinical outcomes and overall patient care.

The Neurosciences Program includes prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for:

  • Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
  • Back and neck pain
  • Brain tumors and head traumas
  • Epilepsy and seizure disorders
  • Headaches
  • Nerve and muscle disorders
  • Parkinson’s disease
