Houston, TX (August 2, 2017) – Gina Luna, former chairman of JPMorgan Chase in the Houston Region, has been appointed to the CHI St. Luke’s Health system’s board of directors.
"I’m honored to represent CHI St. Luke’s and the communities we serve," Luna said. "I look forward to being involved in helping to shape the future of the organization."
During her 22-year career with JPMorgan Chase, she held a number of key leadership roles in commercial banking, marketing and communications, talent development, risk management, and strategic planning. Since leaving JPMorgan Chase in 2016, she founded Luna Strategies, an independent consulting firm that counsels companies on complex strategic issues and growth initiatives.
An engaged community leader, Luna has served on numerous boards, including the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) which she chaired in 2015, UpSkill Houston, the Welch Foundation, United Way of Greater Houston, and the 2017 Super Bowl Host Committee. She is a recipient of The Bob Onstead Leadership Award, is a Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame inductee, and is named among Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women.

Luna graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and management, and has attended professional development training programs at Harvard University.
